Pär Lagerqvist måste ha stått mitt på Piazza Sordello i min stad Mantova när han fick idén för renässansromanen Dvärgen. Konstigt att jag inte läst boken tidigare. Jag tyckte ändå att den var sisådär, Barabba som jag läst tidigare är, enligt min smak, bättre. Skönt med en kvinnlig författare som tar en "in i stugorna". Mosippan av Elsie Johansson var bra läsning!
Penso che Pär Lagerkvist si trovasse in Piazza Sordello a Mantova quando gli è venuta l'idea di scrivere il romanzo rinascimentale Il nano. Strano che non abbia mai sentito parlare di questo libro. Non mi è comunque piaciuto tantissimo, Barabba che ho letto qualche mese fa mi è piaciuto di piú. Bello venir "portata in casa" da una scrittrice, ero un poco stanca di soli scrittori, Mosippan (in latino questo piccolo fiore si chiama "pulsatilla") di Elsie Johansson mi ha acchiappato proprio!
I believe that Pär Lagerkvist must have been on Sordello square in my hometown, Mantova, when he got the idea to write the renessans-novel The dwarf. It's strange that I never heard of this book before. I did not enjoy it so much though, at least not as much as Barabba which I read a few months ago. Nice to be taken "into the cottages" by a female writer. Mosippan by Elsie Johansson was really enjoyable reading!
