The Kiss of peace

I am reading a book that has this beautiful photo by Julia Margaret Cameron on the cover, so I googled her up and copied a little passage about her in the post below. I usually do not copy, am too proud for that kind of thing, and I am a teacher who is used to flunk those who copy from the internet. But I loved that little passage, I think it takes up the essential about this singular gal who dared to portray women with their hair down in the 1800s. I am totally sold to her photos.

Sto leggendo un libro che riporta questa bellissima foto ("il bacio della pace") di Julia Margaret Cameron sulla copertina. Ho "googlato" la Cameron a copiato un articoletto su di lei nell'inserto quí sotto. Di solito non copio, sono troppo orgogliosa per farlo, in piú sono prof. e devo far volare insufficienze quando qualcuno copia da internet. Ma mi è piaciuta moltissimo questa breve descrizione, riporta l'essenziale di una singolare artista che osava fotografare donne con i capelli sciolti a fine ottocento. Sono completamente incantata dalle sue foto.
