Lunch in the city

What more can I ask of a beautiful summer day such as this? I met my girlfriends from Teacher Training College (LHS) for lunch at Herman's garden restaurant. We ate in the sunshine, looking over the bay of the Baltic sea (Stockholm Ström) and this goargeous city. After a sublime vegetarian buffet, we stayed for coffee, and water, and for more coffee and for more water, until our watches told us that five hours had flown by at it was time to say good-bye. This is summer in the city for me, having time to meet with lovely friends, at an outdoor café, talking, talking, talking and forgetting about time.

Cos'altro posso desiderare da una bellissima giornata d'estate come questa? Ho incontrato le mie amiche d'universitá a pranzo al ristorante giardino di Hermans. Abbiamo mangiato fuori, gustando la vista della baia del Mar Baltico (Stockholm Ström) e di questa splendida cittá. Dopo un sublime buffet vegetariano, siamo rimaste per il caffé e per un bicchiere d'acqua, e per un altro caffè ed un altro bicchiere d'acqua, fino a che i nostri orologi ci hanno annunciato che erano volate cinque ore ed era ora di salutarci. Questa è per me l'estate in cittá, avere tempo per incontrare le mie amiche ad un bar all'aperto, chiacchierare, chiacchierare e chiacchierare dimenticando il tempo che passa.
