E´da un po' che non scrivo delle mie letture. Il motivo è molto semplice,

da diverse settimane non leggo altro che libri didattici

per la preparazione dell'anno scolastico. Ma questo libro

l'ho goduto come si gode un Bacio Perugina, assaporandolo lentamente per non perdere i sapori del cioccolato fondente, della nocciola e del cioccolato al latte...L'avevo regalato a Mats per il compleanno, consigliatomi dalla mia cara amica Ingrid che lo stava leggendo per la seconda volta. Anche Mats lo ha letto due volte. E´la corrispondenza (a mano, ma quí stampata ed impaginata a mo' di libro) tra il pastore pentecostale Thomas Sjödin ed il vescovo emerito luterano Martin Lönnebo. La traduzione del titolo è Clima, vento e le cose serie della vita. Una passeggiata piacevole e profonda con due care persone, che tocca il tema di uno dei piú grandi dolori e la capacitá di apprezzare fino in findo le cose piccole e buone della vita quotidiana. Uno dei pochissimi libri che ora rileggeró, per la seconda volta.

It has been a while since I wrote of my book reading. Thing is that all I have been reading lately is school literature, in order to prepare for my teaching year. But this book I have enjoyed as much as one enjoyes an italian Bacio Perugina. You take it in slowly, carefully so that you can taste the dark chocolate, the nuts and the milk chocolate...I had given it to Mats for his birthday. My friend Ingrid was reading it for the second time and spoke warmly of it. Even Mats has read it twice. It is the hand correspondence (put into print and edited in book form) of the pentecostal pastor Thomas Sjödin and the lutheran bishop Martin Lönnebo. The translation of the title is something like of weather, wind and the seriousness of life. A very nice walk with these very kind people as they talk of one of life's greatest sorrows and of the ability of loving life all the same and of appreciating the smallest pleasures that earthly life does offer. I am ready to read it for the second time, somthing I hardly ever do with books.
