Alexandra Coelho Andoril målar medeltidens mörkaste sidor med digerdöden, skräcken och hela paketet. Det tycker jag hon gör bra. Hon skriver lite hackigt men jag ångrar inte att jag har läst denna roman om Heliga Birgitta och hennes förhållande till dottern Katarina.
Alexandra Coelho Andoril dipinge il medioevo nel suo abito piú cupo, con la peste, il terrore e tutto il resto. Ma lo fa bene. Scrive a mio parerere in modo un poco frammentario, ma non mi pento di aver letto questo suo romanzo sul rapporto tra Santa Brigitta e sua figlia Katarina.
Alexandra Coelho Andoril paints the middle ages in their darkest attire, complete of the plague, the terror and the whole package. But she does it well and I do not regret having read her novel based on the relationship between Saint Birgitta and her daughter Katarina.
